EXTINCTION by Miguel Ángel Vivas ("Kidnapped") hits spanish theaters next August 14th thanks to Sony Pictures Releasing España. Starring this survival horror film Matthew Fox ("Lost", "World War Z"), Jeffrey Donovan ("J. Edgar", "Changeling") and Clara Lago ("Spanish affair"). EXTINCTION is produced by Borja Pena and Emma Lustres for Vaca films ("El Niño", "Retribution", "Cell 211") and Ombra Fimls ("Mindscape"), company founded by Juan Solá and Jaume Collet-Serra. Telefónica Studios coproduces and Maestranza Films participates as associated producers. The film which was shot over nine weeks in Budapest and various areas of the Pyrenees, counts with the participation of Televión Española, Canal + Spain, Canal + France and Canal Sur, Ellipsis Cpital and Hello Media Group.
