Sky High

The day Ángel spoke to Estrella at that nightclub, his life changed forever. After a fight with Poli, Estrella's possessive boyfriend, Poli discovers that Ángel has a knack for getting into trouble and, more importantly, for getting out of it. So, he encourages Ángel to join a gang of robbers that has the entire Madrid police force on edge, turning his life into an all-or-nothing gamble. Ángel quickly begins to climb the ladder of robberies, dirty money, shady deals, and corrupt lawyers, which will lead him to be cornered by Duque, a relentless detective who won't stop until he ruins his career. Ignoring the advice of those around him, Ángel manages to rise to become the protégé of Rogelio, one of the men who controls the city's black market. With Rogelio and Sole, the kingpin's daughter, Ángel will discover that the price of power is high and that he will soon have to choose between his future as a robber and the love of his life, Estrella. A journey that began in the dirtiest of suburbs and whose main objective is the highest point: the sky.
