FATUM

Sergio (Luis Tosar) has a serious gambling problem. After swearing to his wife that he wouldn't relapse, he receives a tip about a supposedly fixed football match and, unable to keep his promise, returns to the betting shop intending to win back all his lost money. The tip turns out to be true, and finally his luck is about to change… but Alejo (Aron Piper), with a past also tainted by gambling, bursts into the shop armed. Pablo (Alex García), a sniper with the GEO (Special Operations Group), is pressured by Commissioner Costa (Elena Anaya) to participate in the robbery. But the GEO officer's mind is elsewhere, at the hospital, where his son's life hangs in the balance. Fate brings Sergio and Pablo together in a robbery at a betting shop, where a gunshot will change their lives forever.
