The Treasure

Fran is fifteen years old and has just received the strongest blow of her life: the death of her mother. Orphaned, without money and still a child, Fran decides to go in search of answers to Galicia, where the only friend he remembers from his parents lives, Manuel, a fisherman from the coast. But when he arrives he finds the doors closed. Tired and dejected, Fran visits the cliffs and without realizing it, the tide surprises him, leaving him isolated on a beach. He wakes up to the sound of a motorboat and sees how it, fleeing from a Civil Guard patrol, throws some bundles into the sea. Moved by curiosity, Fran goes into the sea and is dragged by a current along with the merchandise to a cave. There he discovers that the bales are hashish... …the treasures belong to those who find them and although Fran tries to keep it a secret, its owners will not stop until they locate it. Little by little Fran will discover who is involved. What is not expected is that Manuel, now his teacher and friend, was one of the receivers and inquirers... Furthermore, throughout this adventure, Fran will discover the first love, the first betrayal and the meaning that belonging to a place, belonging to a people has in the life of a teenager...
