The Courier

The year is 2002. Spain joins the euro. It's a time of opportunity, for the clever ones. Like Iván, a kid from Vallecas who outgrows his neighborhood. From his job as a valet at a luxurious golf club in the capital, he soon takes his first big step: becoming a Belgian courier for an international money laundering organization. Iván starts transporting suitcases to Brussels and Geneva. But Iván can't stop looking to the top. The real dirty money flows on the Costa del Sol. Construction magnates, corrupt politicians, bankers, athletes, the Chinese mafia… Iván wants his piece of the pie. This is the story of a young man who had nothing and dared to have it all.
